Babehoven

Babehoven is the Hudson, New York-based project of singer-songwriter Maya Bon and multi-instrumentalist and producer Ryan Albert. Since 2017, the duo has developed an intimate yet expansive blend of melodic indie, folk rock, and occasional country influences. Bon writes and sings the songs, while Albert helps shape their surrounding sonic landscape.

The performance features Babehoven’s new single, “Blue Around You,” a country-tinged, resilient song recorded in Upstate New York with producer Phil Weinrobe and musicians including Oliver Hill, Zosha Warpeha, Dylan Nowik, Jared Samuel, Ellington Peet, and Nick Kinsey. New York City-based “sleep rock piano music” artist Jane Lai is also on the bill.
