Tasting and Pairing Wines for the Holiday Table
Prepare for holiday entertaining with an expert-led wine tasting and pairing workshop at Longwood Gardens. Participants will sample a curated selection of wines chosen to complement the varied flavors and traditions of holiday meals, while learning practical principles for matching wine with classic dishes.
The class explores how acidity, tannins, and body affect a successful pairing. It is designed for hosts, guests bringing a bottle to a celebration, and anyone interested in expanding their wine knowledge. Participants will leave with practical entertaining ideas, a deeper appreciation of food and wine pairing, and a selection of crowd-pleasing wines to consider for upcoming holiday meals.
