Recital: Adam Pearl, harpsichord

Adam Pearl presents a harpsichord recital placing Johann Sebastian Bach’s music within the tradition of his predecessors. The program traces the development of the dance suite from Johann Jakob Froberger through Jean-Henri d’Anglebert to one of Bach’s French Suites, while also following the evolution of the toccata from Girolamo Frescobaldi and Dieterich Buxtehude to Bach’s C-minor Toccata.

The recital is part of Tempesta di Mare’s Artist Recital Series and is one of three performances scheduled during the October 30–November 1, 2026 engagement.
