Love Me or Leave Me
Love Me or Leave Me is the subject of a Deep Focus online seminar led by film writer and educator Hannah Jack. The discussion examines this 1955 Hollywood classic for a wide audience, from casual movie fans to dedicated cineastes, as part of a monthly series exploring both widely celebrated films and less familiar classics whose reputations have evolved over time.
The seminar takes place on Zoom. Jack has written hosted introductions for Turner Classic Movies for the past decade and has also contributed introductions for FilmStruck, HBO Max, and TCM/Fathom Events screenings. She is a tenured New York City public school teacher and is in her sixth year leading Renew Theaters’ Deep Focus series on classic Hollywood films. She has introduced films at screenings and festivals and has appeared as a speaker at the TCM Classic Film Festival and on the TCM Classic Cruise.
