WILD HORSE NINE is a 118-minute first-run film directed by Martin McDonagh. Set shortly before Chile’s 1973 coup, the story follows CIA agents Chris and Lee, longtime partners sent from Santiago to Easter Island by their bureau chief, MJ. As they confront personal demons and unravel present-day conspiracies among the island’s famous statues, Chris forms an unexpected connection with two rebellious students, putting the entire mission and their retreat to the remote paradise at risk.

The film is a UK, USA, and Chile production in English, with John Malkovich, Sam Rockwell, Steve Buscemi, Mariana Di Girolamo, and Ailín Salas among the cast.
