Sketching in the Galleries

Sketching in the Galleries invites visitors to explore the Philadelphia Museum of Art through informal, drop-in drawing sessions. Each session takes place in a different gallery and centers on a particular theme inspired by works in the museum’s collection. The gallery location is posted online before the program and is also available from any Visitor Services desk.

Materials are provided, and no prior sketching experience is necessary. Seating and capacity may be limited according to the size and restrictions of the gallery. Participants also receive 10% off art supplies at the museum store.

When: Friday, November 6, 2026

Showtimes: 12:00–1:30 p.m.

Venue: Philadelphia Museum of Art, Main Building

Location: Multiple galleries; the specific gallery will be announced before the session.

Tickets: Free with museum admission. Reservations are not required.
