Flashbang: Sci-Fi Stories That Will Blow Your Mind!

Flashbang: Sci-Fi Stories That Will Blow Your Mind! is an author event centered on Rorie Still’s anthology of vivid science-fiction stories. The collection moves across a wide range of tones and forms, including a humorous anti-bullying story, a somber haiku, and a straightforward stranger-danger tale. Its varied characters are ordinary people coming through difficult, unusual days while searching for something they urgently need, such as peace, confidence, or freedom.

Philadelphia-born author Rorie Still will discuss her work and sign books. Still began writing stories in second grade, published the original anthology in 2013, and adapted it into a graphic novel in 2019.
