Feeding Your Wintertime Backyard Birds

Learn how to support the bird species that remain in local backyards through the winter instead of migrating to warmer climates. This in-person conservation and stewardship class covers choosing appropriate food, selecting the right feeder, and providing shelter and water for resident birds.

The session is led by Charles and Kathy Shattuck, longtime owners of Wild Birds Unlimited in Hockessin, Delaware. Their work focuses on quality backyard bird-feeding products, wildlife conservation, and supporting local nonprofit organizations.
