THE PINK VELVET WITCH

THE PINK VELVET WITCH is an exclusive one-night Philadelphia premiere screening of Bruce Grossman’s documentary about Niki Brisco, the shock performer known as The Pink Velvet Witch. The film explores queer life and subculture, presenting BDSM and sadomasochism as forms of ritual, art, and personal expression while following Brisco’s life as a trans queer renegade building a legacy in New York City.

The documentary combines candid vignettes with footage of Brisco’s live performances and won Best Documentary Feature at the Coney Island Film Festival. The screening is followed by a question-and-answer session with Niki Brisco, filmmaker Bruce Grossman, and Mister E. of Dead Flowers Circus-Sideshow.
