Fish, Ink and Paper: The Art of Gyotaku
Fish, Ink and Paper: The Art of Gyotaku is an exhibition by Collegeville artist Michael Reimer featuring gyotaku, the Japanese practice of creating prints from fish. Reimer uses fish caught in Montgomery and Berks Counties, preparing them for inking and printing through a combination of traditional gyotaku techniques and methods he has developed himself. The exhibition highlights both the creativity of the artist and the beauty of local wildlife.
