WICKER

WICKER is an audacious comedic fable about sex, marriage, and the absurdity of social convention. The film follows an ostracized fisherwoman who commissions a husband from the village basketmaker. When her wicker-made spouse turns out to be far more remarkable than she expected, his soulful nature and unusual prowess awaken new feelings in her and provoke jealousy, fascination, and upheaval throughout the village.
