BETWEEN BORDERS
BETWEEN BORDERS is a community screening exploring the global experiences of Black and Brown migrants through a program of short films followed by a panel discussion. The event is presented in collaboration with Temple University’s Department of Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, Drexel University’s Department of Global Studies and Modern Languages, and the Mexican Cultural Center.
Drexel’s department emphasizes teaching, experiential learning, and collaboration across the humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. The Mexican Cultural Center, a Philadelphia-area nonprofit founded in 1994, promotes understanding of Mexico’s cultural and artistic diversity and its influence in the region. Juntos and Connecting Roots, part of NAMI, are listed as tabling partners.
