Workshop Series: Seeding Joy
Workshop Series: Seeding Joy is an interactive, multimedia workshop presented by the Museum of Black Joy in collaboration with Drexel Writers Room and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Designed for participants of all ages, the workshop uses the museum’s permanent collection as a starting point for creative activities exploring culturally specific ideas of beauty, representation, self-expression, and mindfulness. Activities may include collage, genre-expansive writing, visual poetry, creative journaling, and zine-making.
The October session takes place in the museum’s Eli Kirk Price Room within the Learning & Engagement Center. It is part of an ongoing workshop series supported by the William Penn Foundation through Writers Room.
