Weekend Workshop | Color Matters Workshop (ONLINE) with Kassem Amoudi
Color Matters is an online weekend workshop led by artist, critic, and mentor Kassem Amoudi. Participants will examine how color functions in painting and learn to use it both strategically and intuitively, working from personal subject matter such as objects, images, emotions, or ideas to develop an individual artistic style.
The workshop explores temperature, value, saturation, and harmony and contrast through color relationships. It also considers how color can establish focal points, suggest space, influence mark-making, and support personal expression, with examples drawn from modern and contemporary art. Painting experience is recommended.
