Garrett Boys
Garrett Boys is an Appalachian folk trio from Overton County in eastern Tennessee, featuring brothers Stephen and Russell Garrett and Stephen’s son, Carter. Their music grows out of the family’s deep connection to a 500-acre property known as “The Land,” where the Garrett family has lived for generations. Their debut album, *It Runs Deep*, draws on that history, with nearly all of its 11 songs inspired by the land, family, community, and the values passed between generations.
The group’s songs reflect both their family’s past and their hopes for the future, blending personal stories with broader themes of belonging, heritage, and community.
