Gardening Workshop: Backyard Seed Saving
Join Truelove Seeds co-founder Owen Taylor for a 90-minute, hands-on workshop on the art and science of saving seeds. Through demonstrations with a variety of plants, participants will learn which plants are best for seed harvesting and how to collect, clean, package, overwinter, and preserve seeds for future growing seasons.
The workshop also explores how seed saving supports biodiversity, food traditions, community food sovereignty, cultural preservation, and sustainable agriculture. Participants will take home seeds to begin their own seed-saving projects.
