The Improv Double Feature
The Improv Double Feature brings two improv teams to the stage for an hour of late-night comedy. The evening features The Hot Seat, directed by Keane Cobb, followed by The Next Big Thing, directed by Michael Levine.
The Hot Seat draws on audience stories about the childhood mischief and sitcom-style schemes they managed to get away with, transforming an interview into comedy through the Harold format. The Next Big Thing begins with an audience suggestion for an invention intended to solve a major modern problem, then follows a rapidly advancing future as each scene moves farther forward in time and explores the consequences of that innovation.
