Handmade Holiday Jewelry
Design festive keepsakes in this two-part, in-person creative arts course inspired by A Longwood Christmas. With artist Hattie Weselyk, participants will use precious metal clay and botanical elements such as evergreen sprigs and berries to create fine silver jewelry. Each participant will make a pair of earrings and a pendant, which can be kept as a personal memento or given as a handmade holiday gift.
The clay pieces will be kiln-fired into 99.9% pure silver. The class is designed for adults, and no previous jewelry-making experience is required. Tools and materials are provided.
