Better Than Bacon

Better Than Bacon presents “Bacon Gives Back,” a special fundraising evening of improvisational comedy at Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center. The event benefits Coatesville Youth Initiative and Brandywine Valley Active Aging.

The evening begins with a performance by musical comedian Todd Chappelle, followed by Better Than Bacon’s fast-paced improv. Inspired by audience suggestions, the troupe creates scenes, characters, and comedic situations entirely on the spot, making each performance unique.

Better Than Bacon was founded in 2010 by improv enthusiasts who met in a local comedy class. After making its professional debut in 2011, the troupe became a fixture of the southeastern Philadelphia suburbs’ comedy scene, with performers experienced in improv, acting, stand-up comedy, and music.
