Headache

WKDU and The Machine present Headache at Underground Arts, with ARTHUR and amr* appearing on the lineup. The show features Pennsylvania bedroom-pop artist ARTHUR, whose off-kilter songs draw on his rural upbringing, video-game soundtracks, and imaginative explorations of isolation and inner life.

ARTHUR, the project of Philadelphia musician Arthur Shea, began with music made on his father’s computer and later developed through local projects including Forever Lesbians, now known as Joy Again. His 2018 debut album, *Woof Woof*, was recorded at his childhood home and collects 16 brief, stylistically varied songs across 25 minutes. He followed it with *Hair of the Dog*, recorded in his Philadelphia apartment and released through Honeymoon. The bill also includes amr*.
