GREEN WHITE GREEN

GREEN WHITE GREEN is Abba T. Makama’s comedic debut about three young men in Lagos who are waiting to leave for university. In the meantime, they begin making a film inspired by Nigeria’s history, leading to an affectionate and engaging story about friendship, creativity, and life in contemporary Lagos.

The film is presented as part of the Philadelphia Film Society’s *Echoes of the Land: Chronicles of West Africa* series, which explores West African cultural life, social and political complexities, personal relationships, and the region’s linguistic diversity.
