THIS IS BUZZ w/ filmmaker Mark Pellington

Philadelphia’s premiere of *THIS IS BUZZ* explores the largely forgotten MTV series *BUZZ*, which aired for just 13 episodes in 1990. The experimental, music-driven documentary examines the program’s fast-cut, avant-garde approach to revealing overlooked aspects of life around the world, as well as its prescient, dreamlike style and the fact that it was hosted by RuPaul.

Director Mark Pellington, known for both feature films and influential music videos, will attend the screening. The event also includes a pre-show compilation of music videos directed by Pellington.
